As part of the 18th Meeting of Hydrotechnical Students, the lecture "Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Water Sector" was conducted at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade.
Dr. Milan Stojkovic, senior research associate at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, spoke to undergraduate and master's students from the Department of Hydrotechnics and Water Environmental Engineering about how artificial intelligence can be used in the water supply system, the challenges of removing stormwater, the prerequisites for simulating and forecasting, and how to improve surface water quality.
During the lecture, the issues that water management systems confront were also highlighted, as well as future initiatives of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia and the benefits of employing AI in the water sector.
