What role does AI play in economic progress and social development?

Artificial intelligence is now widely used in many domains of research and production. It is prevalent even in historically conservative areas like as pharmaceuticals and healthcare, which are highly regulated, and is used in the most diverse stages of work.

"If we want to stay modern and competent to do anything, we have to understand artificial intelligence, have experts who know how to apply it, and on the other hand, educate themselves in various fields, from the public sector to the economy, people who need to use it about its importance and how it can help them", Dr. Branka Rakic, senior expert associate at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, told Radio Belgrade 1.
