The "Data Science Conference 2022" was held in Belgrade from November 14 to 18, 2022, where the use of VI in industry, manufacturing, cryptanalysis, and medical was debated over the course of five days. Special emphasis is placed on the ethical and safe deployment of artificial intelligence.
The opening and construction of the infrastructure required for the exchange, use, and storage of data, as well as their promotion, management, and analysis of a large amount of data that can serve for further development and improvement of citizens' quality of life, were discussed during the "Data 4 Development" panel. They covered the following topics:
- Prof. Dr. Dubravko Ćulibrk, acting director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia;
- Jelena Ružičić, United Nations Development Program (UNDP);
- Bogdan Stešević, Office for IT and eGovernment.
This year's hybrid conference attracted over 2,000 live attendees and 10,000 online, and the world's leading experts in artificial intelligence and data science presented expertise and experience on the newest developments in natural language processing, robotics, computer vision, open data, sports analytics, quantum computing, and other fields.
