Wonder Dynamics raised $9 million investment

The main goal of a Novi Sad-based startup created by video effects expert Nikola Todorović and Hollywood actor Tie Sheridan is to enhance the availability of visual effects at reduced rates.

"Wonder Dynamics" is a well-known and successful domestic startup that develops artificial intelligence-based tools. Thanks to these tools, filmmakers may now create visual effects and computer graphics at a faster and reduced cost.

Numerous big companies and investment funds recognized the need of creating solutions aimed at increasing the availability of industrial equipment, and the company, headquartered in Novi Sad, got a $9 million investment. Among the major global investors were Horizons Ventures, Epic Games, and Samsung Next.

"The platform employs a whole new process, and it is an end-to-end solution for content producers that lack the technical understanding required to develop CG and VFX material. The future of art that we at Wonder Dynamics want to be a part of is one with Empowered Artists," stated Nikola Todorović, Co-Founder and CEO of Wonder Dynamics and a member of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence's Advisory Board.

The platform is expected to launch in 2022, and the new funding will allow the company to expand its team of machine learning engineers and computer graphics experts in order to accelerate the development of Wonder AI Suite, a cloud platform for creating artificial intelligence-based content for projects of all sizes.

Our platform may be utilized for cinema and television, as well as video games, social media material, and even the Metaverse. This is why we were so delighted to bring in key partners like as Epic Games and Samsung, who are leaders in their respective sectors, to this round", according to Tye Sheridan, a Hollywood actor.
